A. The technology is essentially the same, but the image throw distance of the EST is less than half of the ST projector resulting virtually in no shadows. Both offer the same security features, high brightness and image contrast. The close proximity of the EST projector to the ActivBoard is ideal for the mobile system as it allows the system to be moved around without the requirement to dismantle and reassemble in the new location.
